Iredell Man On Probation Found With Heroin: Sheriff

IREDELL COUNTY, NC — An Iredell County manon probation faces felony drug charges after deputies found him in possession of heroin, the Iredell County Sheriff’s Office said.

According to ICSO, deputies conducted a warrantless probation search at the home of Joshua Lunn Sylvester, 27, in the 300 block of Harrill Street in Statesville on Sept. 18. While conducting the search, deputies found heroin, along with several plastic bags and a digital scale.

Sylvester was arrested and has been charged with felony possession with intent to sell and deliver a Schedule I controlled substance (Heroin), and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia.

He was also served an additional warrant for felony probation violation by North Carolina Probation and Parole.

His secured bond was set at $15,000.
