Iredell Sheriff’s Officer Commended As 'Officer Of The Year'
Sergeant Gina Cranford of the Iredell County Sheriff's Office was commended for more than 25 years of service.

MOORESVILLE, NC — Sergeant Gina Cranford of the Iredell County Sheriff’s Office is the 2019 recipient of the Mooresville-South Iredell Crime Stoppers Officer of the Year Award.
Cranford, who currently serves as a supervisor in the Iredell County Sheriff’s Office School Resource Officers Unit, has worked for the sheriff’s office since 2008. She has more than 25 years law enforcement experience that includes working as a school resource officer and a property crimes detective, it said.
“We are very proud of her work in our schools, as well as in the community,” ICSO said in a statement.
