According to a MPD facebook post, "officers and staff, family and friends gathered to celebrate K9 Valor's first day back on the job since a health scare last fall, which almost took his life. Due to his recovery, he was unable to complete his annual certification until yesterday when he passed with flying colors! We are so happy to have you back, hardworking boy! We missed you!"
