Kings Mountain Man Charged In Mooresville Goodwill Break-In
Jason A. Kirkpatrick, 46, was arrested after a break-in at the Williamson Road Goodwill Sunday.

MOORESVILLE, NC — A 46-year-old Kings Mountain man was arrested and charged following a break-in at a Mooresville Goodwill Sunday, Mooresville Police Department said Tuesday.
According to MPD, officers responded to the Goodwill Industries, located at 214 Williamson Road, April 12 after receiving a report of an open door at the business.
"A Goodwill employee arrived at the store and Mooresville officers conducted a search of the building and the immediate area," MPD said.

Police located Jason A Kirkpatrick, 46, nearby with items that both the employee and video surveillance confirmed belonged to Goodwill, MPD said.
Kirkpatrick was charged with felony breaking and entering; damage to property; habitual larceny; resisting/delaying obstructing a law enforcement officer; and violation of the NC Governor's Executive Order #131 (Stay At Home Order).

Kirkpatrick was transported to the Iredell County Detention Center. His secured bond was set at $50,000.
