Labor Day 2017: Schools and government offices will be impacted by the holiday weekend in Mooresville. Here's a list of closings.

MOORESVILLE, NC -- Labor Day 2017 will be celebrated on Monday, Sept. 4, which, alas, marks the unofficial end of summer.

While most schools, banks and government offices will be closed in observance of the holiday, many businesses and some services will be operational as usual.

Here are the openings/closings to be aware of on Monday, Sept. 4.:

Mooresville Town Offices: closed

Iredell County Government Offices and Agencies: closed

Iredell County Animal Shelter: closed Saturday, Sept. 2 through Monday, Sept. 4.

Federal Government Offices: closed

North Carolina State Government Offices: closed

North Carolina Court system: closed

Schools and Administrative Offices: closed

U.S. Post Office: Closed

Banks: Closed

Trash Collection: There will be no collections on Sept. 4. Collection services will be delayed by one day for the rest of the week.

Mooresville Public Library: closed
