Man Charged With Stealing Bikes From Family At Iredell Rest Area
Marko Anthony Seget, 43, was accused of taking bikes from a family while they used the restroom and hitting a woman in the face.

MOORESVILLE, NC — A Florida man has been charged with robbery following an incident at a North Iredell County interstate rest area where a woman alleges he stole her family’s bicycles while they used the restroom, then hit her in the face when she attempted to prevent him from leaving the parking lot.
According to a report from the Iredell County Sheriff’s Office, the Dec. 15 incident occurred at a rest area along Interstate 77.
“Upon arrival, deputies located the victim in this case and learned, when she came out of the restroom she saw a silver Dodge pickup parked in front of the building with her family’s bicycles on a trailer,” ICSO said.

The woman told deputies she then ran to the front of the truck and stood in its way to get the driver to stop, as she told her sons to get the bicycles off the trailer. The driver then got out of the pickup truck, “came up to her and hit her in the face,” she told deputies.
He then got back in the truck and drove away, the report said.
