MLK Day 2018: What's Open, Closed In Mooresville
Martin Luther King, Jr. Day is Monday, Jan. 15. Here's a list of local government offices and services that will close for the holiday.

MOORESVILLE, NC -- Martin Luther King, Jr. Day will be celebrated Monday, Jan. 15, 2018, marking the 32nd year of observance of the federal holiday honoring the civil rights leader. While some in the region might be headed to work, schools, government offices and other services will take a break for the day.
Mooresville government offices will be closed for MLK Day, as well as libraries and schools, and trash collection will operate on a one-day delayed schedule for the week.

Mooresville Town Offices: Closed
Iredell County Government Offices: Closed

Schools and Administrative Offices: Closed
Trash and Recycling: Sanitation and recycling services will be delayed one day for all residents during the week. All county solid waste facilities, however, will be open.
Library: Mooresville Public Library will be closed Monday, Jan. 15. No library materials are due when the library is closed.
