Mooresville Battle Of The Badges Blood Drive
Police, fire, and other badge-wearing citizens will compete to see who can donate the most blood. All others are welcome to donate, too.
MOORESVILLE, NC -- Police, fire and other badge-wearing public servants will have the chance to "compete" in the Battle of the Badges Blood Drive next month.
The event, on Aug. 16, is part of the American Red Cross' 11th annual Battle of the Badges. Everyday citizens can donate as well.
Though they want all the help they can get, the Mooresville Police Department warned that "Walk-ins welcomed, but may be limited!"

The event lasts from noon to 5 p.m. at the police department at 750 West Iredell Ave. in Mooresville.
