Mooresville Forecast: Here’s When The Rain Ends
After days of soaking rain, the Mooresville area faces the prospect of more to come. Here's when you can expect to see the sun again.
MOORESVILLE, NC — Wednesday morning was off to a soggy start, after a night of flash flooding throughout the Queen City region. While skies will likely clear up a bit Wednesday, Mooresville can expect the possibility of more rain Thursday and Friday, according to National Weather Service forecasters.
Rain will return to the drenched region Thursday afternoon, with possible thunderstorms popping up late in the day. The chance of similar rainy conditions is expected to stretch into Friday.
All that will change by the weekend, however, when sunny skies return to the forecast. Start making plans to be outdoors now. The highs are expected to be in the mid-70s, NWS said.

A 30 percent chance of showers, mainly before 11am. Partly sunny, with a high near 72. West northwest wind 6 to 8 mph.

Mostly cloudy, with a low around 54. North northwest wind 3 to 7 mph.
Thursday (April 26)
A 40 percent chance of showers, mainly after 1pm. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 70. Light and variable wind becoming north northeast around 5 mph. New precipitation amounts of less than a tenth of an inch possible.

A chance of showers and thunderstorms before 9pm, then showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm between 9pm and 10pm, then a chance of showers and thunderstorms after 10pm. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 55. Light south southeast wind. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New rainfall amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.
