Mooresville Golf Course Ranks On List Of Best In Charlotte Area

MOORESVILLE, NC — The Mooresville Golf Course has been ranked among the top five best public courses in the Charlotte area, according to Charlotte Agenda.

Charlotte Agenda recently published its list of the best public golf courses around Charlotte, saying, “A former municipal course, Mooresville Golf Club has transformed into a must-play, links style layout with country club amenities and a superior practice complex.”

“Mooresville Golf Club was awarded the third best golf course renovation in 2017 by Golf Inc., and to be honored again on a local list like Charlotte Agenda is a great achievement for us,” Mooresville Golf Club Manager Luke Steimke said in a statement.

The Mooresville Golf Club was renovated in 2016 by Kris Spence, and the course includes 70 bunkers, 5.2 miles of concrete cart paths, a dual-sided driving range and short game practice area, the Town of Mooresville said in a statement. Additionally, Mooresville Golf Club’s 17,000 square-foot clubhouse incorporates On The Nines Bistro, Tavern at the Turn snack bar & grill, a pro shop, banquet space and outdoor seating, and a garage facility to house golf carts with top of the line GPS systems.
