Mooresville Graded Schools Approve 2020-2021 School Calendar

MOORESVILLE, NC — The year will soon draw to a close, but school officials already have their eyes ahead on the next school year. The Mooresville Graded Schools board of education has approved the 2020-2021 school calendar.

The first day of school will once again be in the first week of August, with the scheduled last day of school taking place before Memorial Day.

Here’s a run down of major dates on the calendar:

• Aug. 4, 2020: First day of school
• Oct. 12 - Oct. 16, 2020: No school
• Dec. 21, 2020 — Jan. 4, 2021: — Winter holiday
• March 8 - 12, 2021: Spring break
• May 26, 2021: Early release/ Last Day of School
