Mooresville High Stages Armed Intruder Drill Tuesday Morning
If you see emergency vehicles at MHS Tuesday morning, don't worry. It's only a drill, school officials said.
MOORESVILLE, NC — Local first responders will be at Mooresville High School Tuesday morning, conducting an “armed intruder drill,” according to school officials.
The Aug. 21 drill will be conducted by the Mooresville Graded School District and the Mooresville Police Department.
The school is located at 659 East Center Street in Mooresville.

“Due to this drill, there will be multiple emergency vehicles around Mooresville High School during the morning hours,” the school said in a statement. “We wanted to let you know so as to alleviate any concerns should you be in the Mooresville High School area Tuesday morning.”
