Mooresville Music, Movies On Main: Schedule of Events

MOORESVILLE, NC — The Town of Mooresville has kicked off its outdoor movie series that brings popular family-friendly movies to Main Street through September. The town's music series resumes later in the summer and features a crowd-pleasing lineup that includes Chairmen of the Board band.

“Concessions items will be available for purchase. Bring a blanket or chair and share the event with your friends, say organizers.

Here's what you need to know to see movies under the stars.

Movies On Main Schedule:

• Friday, June 15 — Space Jam
• Friday, June 29 — Little Mermaid
• Friday, July 20 — Homeward Bound
• Friday, August 17 — Good Burger
• Friday, September 21 — Free Willy

All movies are scheduled to begin at dark, around 8:45 p.m. at the Town of Mooresville Town Hall, located at 413 North Main Street.

Music On Main

Mooresville will also soon resume its monthly “Music on Main” series in August. Here is the upcoming lineup:

• Friday, August 3 — The Stranger

“The Stranger is the complete premiere tribute to the music of one of the worlds most beloved performers, Billy Joel,” say organizers.

• Friday, September 7 — Chairmen of the Board

“With one of Soul Music's all-time great group names, the Chairmen of the Board has pleased music lovers for over 30 years,” say organizers.

• Friday, October 5 — The Lilly Brothers

“The Lilly Brothers are an upcoming Americana-Roots band from Lexington NC,” say organizers.
