Mooresville National Night Out, Aug. 1
Mooresville's ninth National Night Out is coming next week, and kids will have a chance to win a bike or Nintendo game system.

MOORESVILLE, NC -- National Night Out is coming up Tuesday of next week, and Mooresville is participating for the ninth time. From 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Aug. 1, Downtown Mooresville will serve as host to the event.
Along North Main Street, Mooresville Police, the Mooresville Fire Department, the Iredell Sheriff's Department and local businesses will provide festivities and fun for the public.
For the kids, raffles will be held with drawings for bicycles and a Nintendo game system. Tickets will be available the night of the event, and you muts be present to win.

This is National Night Out's 33rd year, and is known more formally as "America's Night Out Against Crime." Over 11,000 communities across the nation are participating, including U.S. territories, Canadian cities and military bases around the world.
Target sponsors the national event, and the Mooresville Police Department organized and promoted the local event.
