Mooresville Police Get Happy In Lip Sync Battle: WATCH
Mooresville Police Department showcased their dancing skills in a lip sync challenge released Tuesday afternoon.

MOORESVILLE, NC — The wait is over, folks. Mooresville Police Department accepted a lip sync challenge issued by the Salisbury Police Department and unveiled its lip sync video Tuesday afternoon.
For the last month, law enforcement agencies around the country have been challenging one another to a lip sync battle in what's turned out to be a fun exercise not just for them but observers as well. The videos have shown a softer side to police.
Set to Pharrell Williams’ song, “Happy,” members of MPD bop, groove and even issue a traffic ticket while channeling the perky, feel-good pop ditty throughout the community. Mooresville’s version, however, stands apart. How so, you ask? Two words: crotch kick.
