Mooresville Registered Sex Offender Charged With Selling Meth
Ryan Lewis Wilson of Mooresville was arrested Wednesday and charged with a list of felony drug offenses, the sheriff's office said.

MOORESVILLE, NC — A Mooresville registered sex offender under surveillance was arrested Wednesday in Statesville and charged with a list of felony drug crimes, the Iredell County Sheriff’s Office said.
Ryan Lewis Wilson, 35, was arrested at a home in the 100 block of Ivey Ostwalt Road in Statesville Feb. 19. Wilson lives on Keyside Lane in Mooresville, according to authorities.
“Wilson was being monitored due to his status as a Registered Sex Offender, [and]was determined to be involved in the distribution of Crystal Methamphetamine in Iredell County through surveillance operations conducted by Iredell County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Investigators,” Sheriff Darren Campbell said in a statement.

Wilson was charged with two felony counts of sex Offender near a child premise; three counts of felony sell or deliver Schedule I controlled substance (Crystal Methamphetamine); three counts of felony possession with intent to sell or deliver Schedule I controlled substance (Crystal Methamphetamine); and felony maintaining a vehicle or dwelling to sell controlled substances.
Additional charges related to violation the terms of his probation are also forthcoming, the sheriff’s office said. Wilson’s secured bond was set at $100,000.
