Main Street will close to traffic between Iredell Avenue to Center Avenue in downtown Mooresville on Saturday, March 7.
MOORESVILLE, NC — Prancing dancers and festive pipes will soon return to Main Street in Mooresville. The town’s annual St. Patrick’s Day parade is set for Saturday, March 7.
St. Patrick's Day falls on Tuesday, March 17 this year, and Mooresville is getting in the revelry more than a week early.
This year's St. Patrick's Day parade features the Connick School of Irish Dance, as well as green cars, tumblers, entertainment and more, organizers say.

The parade begins at 3 p.m. at Main Street and Iredell Avenue, traveling south to Center Avenue. After the parade, dancers from the Connick School of Irish Dance will perform near 153 N. Main Street around 3:45 p.m.
