Mooresville Women's Self-Defense Seminar Set For April 14

A Mooresville martial arts studio will offer a free women's self-defense seminar.

MOORESVILLE, NC β€” A free women's self-defense seminar is being offered Saturday, April 14, at Firm Foundation Martial Arts, 611 N Main St. in Mooresville. The session runs from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m., according to a notice on the Mooresville-South Iredell Chamber of Commerce website.

Organizers say the goal of the seminar is to assume you find yourself in the worst possible scenario where you're left with only two options: do something and increase your chances of surviving the violent confrontation or do nothing and end up becoming a victim.
