Mooresville's National Night Out 2018: What You Need To Know

On August 7, Mooresville will hold its 10th National Night Out event downtown. Here's what you need to know.

MOORESVILLE, NC — Police Departments across the Lake Norman region will be holding "National Night Out" community events Tuesday, Aug. 7 aimed at strengthening relationships between law enforcement and the communities they serve.

For 35 years, National Night Out events have been held across the U.S. This year, an estimated 38 million residents in 16,000 communities are expected to participate, according to the organization.

This year marks the 10th year Mooresville has joined the festivities. Mooresville Police Department, Mooresville Fire Department and the Iredell County Sheriff’s Office will join local businesses for the downtown event featuring food, games, giveaways and music.
