Mulch Giveaway Expanded In Mooresville: How To Get A Load
The Town of Mooresville is expanding its free mulch offer to residents to now include businesses and free delivery.
MOORESVILLE, NC — The Town of Mooresville is expanding its giveaway of free mulch to residents and businesses and is also offering free delivery in a 15-mile radius, it said Monday.
The town is giving away single ground, untreated mulch made of the different wood types gathered during limb collection from homes around town.
What’s the catch? Recipients need to be able to accommodate a full 45-foot tractor trailer load (or 40 cubic yards), the town said. Delivery of the mulch will also be free, as long as it is within a 15-mile radius of Mooresville.

Says the Town of Mooresville:
This service will be offered Monday through Saturday, 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Delivery of the mulch can be arranged by calling Mark McCabe at 704-799-4130.
