Oyster Fest, Pumpkin Patches: This Weekend In Mooresville

MOORESVILLE, NC — Do you have a pumpkin yet? This weekend, there are plenty of fun things to do around town, including pumpkin picking. Enjoy oysters and live music by Jim Avett at LangTree Lake, or listen to Sticks & Stones play at Ghostface Brewing. And, for the more adventurous anxious to get into the Halloween spirit, there’s Scarrigan Farms haunted trail.

Here are five events to check out in Mooresville:

• Triple Diamond Farm Pumpkin Patch — Saturday, Oct. 13 - Sunday, Oct. 14, 10 a.m. Triple Diamond Farm, 2260 London Road, Mooresville.
• Oyster Fest & An Evening with Jim Avett — Saturday, Oct. 13, 5 p.m. - 10 p.m. LangTree Lake Norman, 401 Langtree Road, Mooresville. Tickets may be purchased here.
• Pumpkin Picking at Carrigan Farms — Saturday, Oct. 13, 9 a.m. - 4 p.m., Carrigan Farms, 1261 Oak Ridge Farm Highway, Mooresville.
• Scarrigan Farms — Friday, Oct. 13, 6:30 p.m. - 9 p.m. Scarrigan Farms, 1213 Oak Ridge Farm Hwy., Mooresville.
• Sticks & Stones — Saturday, Oct. 13, 8:30 p.m. - 10:30 p.m. Ghostface Brewing, 427 E. Statesville Ave., Mooresville.
