Police Hunt For Suspects After Robbery At Mooresville Gun Store
According to police, suspects broke into Point Blank Range around 3 a.m. Friday morning, and their getaway car was later abandoned.
MOORESVILLE, NC — Police are searching for suspects who broke into a Mooresville gun range and shop before dawn and fled the scene in a vehicle that was later abandoned.
According to a Mooresville Police Department report, the break-in at Point Blank Range, located at 743 River Highway in Mooresville, occurred around 2:45 a.m.
Officers pursued the suspects as they fled towards Charlotte, but later cancelled the pursuit, said Kim Sellers, who is a spokesperson for the Town of Mooresville. The getaway vehicle was later abandoned and is now in the possession of the police department, she said.

Store management is conducting an inventory to determine what was stolen, Sellers said.
