Road To Close In Downtown Mooresville Friday For Concert
Sections of South Broad Street will be closed in downtown Mooresville Friday night. Here's why.

MOORESVILLE, NC β Sections of South Broad Street will be closed in downtown Mooresville Friday night, the Town of Mooresville said Thursday.
βOn Friday, June 7, South Broad Street, from West McLelland Avenue to the entrance of Trackside Restaurant, will be closed from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m. for a concert. Please find an alternate route and be cautious of pedestrian traffic,β the town said in a statement on Facebook.
Beer Lab by Ghostface Brewing, located at 225 S. Broad St., is holding a memorial scholarship fund benefit concert in honor of K-9 Officer Jordan Sheldon Friday night. Kayla Vega will be performing, and the event begins at 7 p.m.

Also downtown Friday night will be a performance of the Legacy Motown Revue as part of the Our Town Stage concert series. The concert was initially to be held outdoors, but has been moved to the Charles Mack Citizen Center, located at 215 North Main Street, according to the Town of Mooresville.
The free concert, which is sponsored by Mooresville Parks & Recreation, starts at 6 p.m. No tickets are needed.
