Ryan Rase Appointed Acting Town Manager in Mooresville
Ryan Rase was appointed acting town manager while Town Manager David Treme goes on a two-week leave for medical reasons.

MOORESVILLE, NC — Mooresville’s Town Board of Commissioners appointed Assistant Town Manager Ryan Rase as acting Town Manager, it announced Friday morning. The appointment is temporary to fill the position while the current town manager is on medical leave.
"Mooresville Town Manager David Treme shared with Town Board members and senior staff Monday evening, February 25, that he is not able to serve as Town Manager over the next two weeks for medical reasons," Public Information Officer Kim Sellers said in a statement. "The Town's Charter and the general statutes provide that in the event of the Manager's absence or disability, the Board should appoint a qualified officer to serve as acting Town Manager in his absence."
Rase was hired by the town as engineering manager in 2008, and three years later, was named executive director for public services and operations. He was hired as deputy town manager in 2012. That job title reclassified to the title of assistant town manager in January.
