S.C. Man Arrested For Sex Abuse Of 10 Year-Old In Iredell, Charlotte
An arrest has been made in an alleged sex abuse case involving a 10 year-old girl, according to the Iredell County Sheriff's Office.
MOORESVILLE, NC -- A South Carolina man has been arrested and charged with felony indecent liberties with a child after allegations emerged that he sexually abused a 10 year-old family member in Iredell County, Charlotte and Myrtle Beach.
The Iredell Sheriff’s Office said Wednesday that John David Wasse, 51, was arrested Sept. 22 by the Brunswick County Sheriff’s Office after the Iredell office received a report that Wasse had inappropriate sexual conduct with the 10 year-old girl between August and November 2016.
During the course of the investigation, it was determined those incidents occurred while Wasse was living in Iredell County, and also in Charlotte and Myrtle Beach, S.C., according to the Iredell sheriff. Wasse has also been charged and arrested for the alleged abuse that occurred in Myrtle Beach, and is out on bond, according to the sheriff’s office.
