SBI Investigating Overnight Mooresville Police Shooting
A Mooresville police officer was involved in a shooting with a driver of U-Haul van on Shearers Road Sunday evening, according to reports.

MOORESVILLE, NC — North Carolina State Bureau of Investigation is probing an overnight officer shooting in Mooresville that ended with a suspect in custody.
The incident occurred around 11:30 p.m. in the 1000 block of Shearers Road near Mooresville Fire Station 3.
"Upon arrival, one officer encountered two separate vehicles with multiple occupants in the parking lot of Mooresville Fire State No. 3” said Kim Sellers, spokesperson for the Town of Mooresville. "As the officer was conducting his investigaton, shots were fired. No one was injured and a suspect was arrested."
