Search For Burglary Suspect Leads To Drug Bust In Mooresville
A search of a truck suspected to be connected to a business break-in unearthed cocaine, ecstasy and marijuana, ICSO said.

MOORESVILLE, NC — A 32-year-old Mooresville man was arrested and now faces multiple felony drug charges after Iredell County Sheriff’s Office deputies stopped the vehicle he was driving during their search for suspects connected to a breaking and entering of a Mooresville business over the weekend.
According to an ICSO report, Aaron Bernard Faulkner, 32, was stopped in the 100 block of Sunshine Drive in Mooresville March 9 by two deputies who were following up a lead related to the breaking and entering case. After speaking with the occupants of the vehicle, deputies searched the truck and found cocaine, ecstasy and marijuana in Faulkner’s possession.
Faulkner was arrested, taken into custody and charged with felony possession of cocaine, felony possession of a Schedule I (Ecstasy tablets) drug, misdemeanor simple possession of marijuana, misdemeanor possession of marijuana paraphernalia, and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia. His secured bond was set at $5,000.
