MOORESVILLE, NC — Mooresville Police Department is asking for the community’s help identifying and locating a man who they say is wanted for a recent armed robbery of a South Main Street convenience store.

According to MPD, the robbery occurred at the Circle K located at 354 South Main Street in Mooresville shortly after 10 p.m. on March 17. No one was injured in the incident.

“A black male suspect dressed in all black, wearing a black hoodie and a dark colored ski mask over his face, entered the store and displayed a large knife,” MPD said.

After demanding money from the register, the man ran from the store in the direction of Main Street and Wilson Avenue, police said.

MPD said anyone with information about this crime is asked to contact Detective Quinn with the Mooresville Police Department at 704-664-3311 or call the Mooresville-South Iredell Crime Stoppers at 704-658-9056 and submit a tip anonymously.
