Search On For Two Suspects In North Iredell After U-Haul Stolen

IREDELL COUNTY, NC — The Iredell County Sheriff’s Office is searching for two suspects who they say stole a U-Haul van and attempted to steal from an Iredell County business Tuesday.

“Citizens in Northern Iredell County especially in the areas of North Chipley Ford, Snow Creek, and, Ford Farm Roads, the Iredell County Sheriff’s Office is currently attempting to locate two unknown persons who were involved in a larceny of a U-Haul van from Hickory,” ICSO said July 16.

The suspects in the van were attempting a break-in at King Machinery on Wilkesboro Highway when deputies confronted them, ICSO said.

The suspects ran from the scene and the sheriff’s office has deployed drones, deputies and its canine unit to search for them.
