Shooting Suspect On The Run, ‘Extremely Dangerous’: Police
Mooresville police say the suspect wanted in a shooting at Circle K on Main Street should be considered "armed and extremely dangerous.
MOORESVILLE, NC — Mooresville police are asking for the public’s help locating a suspect they say was involved in a recent shooting at a South Main Street gas station and should be considered “armed and extremely dangerous.”
According to MPD, Gercobe Arnell McClain, Jr., 31 and of Davidson, has been identified as the suspect behind a shooting around 9 p.m. on July 14 at the Circle K gas station, located at 354 South Main Street in Mooresville.
Warrants for his arrest include charges for assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill, possession of a firearm by a felon and one count of injury to personal property.

“McClain is considered to be armed and extremely dangerous,” MPD said in a statement.
