Found: Missing Iredell Woman Located In Davie County
A silver alert was issued for Verlyn Sharpe Campbell, 77, who was last seen driving a Black Hyundai Elantra in Union Grove Wednesday.
IREDELL COUNTY — An Iredell County woman reported missing Thursday was located in Davie County, according to authorities. A silver alert had been issued for Verlyn Sharpe Campbell, 77, according to Iredell County Sheriff Darren Campbell.
Authorities asked for help locating Campbell, who was last seen driving a 2013 Black Hyundai Elantra in the 300 block of Indian Hill Road in Union Grove Wednesday evening. The vehicle has North Carolina tag “PJV-4143.”
She is described as 5-foot, 5-inches tall and weighing about 150 pounds. She has gray hair and blue eyes.

She was last known to be wearing a dark colored jacket and a dark blue button down top, ICSO said.
ICSO asks that anyone with information about her whereabouts, should call 911 or the Iredell County Sheriff’s Office at 704-878-3100.
