Silver Alert: Search On For Missing 45-Year-Old Iredell Man

IREDELL COUNTY, NC — Authorities are asking for the community's help locating a missing Iredell County man who has not been seen by his family since Sunday afternoon.

A Silver Alert was activated Aug. 24 for Travis Shane Turner, 45, Iredell County Sheriff's Office said. Turner, who has a health condition, has not been seen by his family since he drove away from his home in eastern Iredell County around 1 p.m. on Aug. 22, ICSO said in a statement.

Turner was last known to be wearing a blue tank top and black shorts. He was driving a 2002 Mercury Grand Marquis with NC tag EKX-6455.

ICSO said anyone with information about Turner's whereabouts is asked to call 9-1-1, or the sheriff's office at 704-878-3100.
