Smash Mouth To Perform At Upcoming Cheerwine Festival
The annual Cheerwine Festival is set for May 18 in Salisbury and this year Smash Mouth will be headlining.

MOORESVILLE, NC β The third annual Cheerwine Festival is set for May 18 in downtown Salisbury and this year will include a performance by the multi-platinum band Smash Mouth, according to organizers.
The annual festival in the cherry soft drinkβs hometown brought in a cumulative 60,000 attendees in 2017 and 2018, boosting the cityβs economy by an estimated $1.5 million.
βSalisbury is proud to be the birthplace of Cheerwine. The soft drink company has called our city home for more than a hundred years,β said Salisbury Mayor Al Heggins.

Hereβs what festival organizers say about the event:
Music will be front and center, with multi-platinum band Smash Mouth β best known for its hit song βAll Starβ β headlining the event.

In addition, two Carolina-based bands, Livehouse and StellaRising, and Nashville-based band The Southern Gothic will perform on the Hotwire Communication Stage.
Attendees will also enjoy a variety of βbuskers,β or musicians performing on the street, including: Blazinβ Blues Bob, Lucas Beam, David Myers & Courtney Puckett, Kia Ric, Takia Cuthbertson and Lisette Rodriguez.

Noon β 6 p.m.: For the first time, Cheerwine will host a scavenger hunt, with fans searching for clues all over downtown Salisbury for a chance to win prizes. To participate, attendees can visit the Cheerwine Fan Club tent at the festival.

Noon - 5 p.m.: Back for the first time since the brandβs centennial celebration in 2017, the Rowan Museumβs free Cheerwine exhibit will take fans of on a walk through the soft drinkβs last 102 years of delighting taste buds.

(All day) The Kidsβ Zone will feature tons of family-friendly games and activities.
Shop for newly-debuted Cheerwine merchandise.
