Soggy Days Ahead: This Week’s Lake Norman Weather

MOORESVILLE, NC — The work week was off to a gray and cloudy start Monday morning, with promises of more of the same every day until the weekend, according to forecasters.

There’s a chance of rain every day this week, according to the National Weather Service. While the skies will likely be dreary there is one bright side: temperatures are cooling off. Monday’s high will be around 78 degrees, and Tuesday will top out around 83 degrees. The sun is expected to return in earnest by Sunday.

A 20 percent chance of showers after 3pm. Patchy fog before 10am. Otherwise, mostly cloudy, with a high near 78. East northeast wind around 7 mph.
Tonight
A 20 percent chance of showers before 3am. Patchy fog after 3am. Otherwise, mostly cloudy, with a low around 68. East wind 5 to 7 mph.
Tuesday (Sept. 25)
A slight chance of showers between noon and 3pm, then a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms after 3pm. Patchy fog before 9am. Otherwise, mostly cloudy, with a high near 83. East wind 3 to 5 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20%.

A slight chance of showers and thunderstorms before 9pm, then a slight chance of showers after 5am. Partly cloudy, with a low around 69. Calm wind. Chance of precipitation is 20%.
