Suspects Attempt To Get Into Vehicles In Muirfield: WATCH
Mooresville Police are asking for help identifying this suspect, who is one of three spotted casing vehicles in the neighborhood.

MOORESVILLE, NC — Mooresville Police are asking for help identifying a suspect, who they say is one of three caught on surveillance cameras casing vehicles in the Muirfield subdivision off Main Street last week.
According to Mooresville Police Department, officers were dispatched to the neighborhood shortly before 3 a.m. June 21 after a resident spotted two males walking through their yard, attempting to open vehicles parked outside the home.
The homeowner confronted the suspects, and they ran away, MPD said.

One of the suspects was described as wearing an orange jacket and the other had on a dark hooded sweatshirt.
Additional security camera footage provided by other neighborhood residents showed there were three suspects, one of whom used a flashlight to look through vehicles, MPD said.

“One of the suspects was captured clearly on video surveillance. He is a thin white or light skinned black male in his 20’s with a chin strap beard.”
