Thanksgiving 2017: What's Open, Closed in Mooresville

Patch has compiled a list of what Mooresville offices and services are closed over the Thanksgiving holiday.

MOORESVILLE, NC -- Thanksgiving Day is considered a federal holiday, which means government offices, schools and some businesses will take a break for the holiday.

Mooreville and Iredell County government offices will be closed for Thanksgiving Day on Thursday, Nov. 23 and Friday, Nov. 24.

U.S. Post Office: Closed Thursday, Nov. 23

State Offices: Closed Thursday, Nov. 23 and Friday, Nov. 24

Town of Mooresville Offices: Closed Thursday, Nov. 23 and Friday, Nov. 24

Iredell County Offices: Closed Thursday, Nov. 23 and Friday, Nov. 24

Schools and Administrative Offices: Closed

Libraries: The Mooresville Public Library will close at 12 p.m. on Tuesday, November 21 for staff development. The library will reopen on Wednesday, November 22 at 9 a.m. and close early at 6 p.m. The library will reopen Monday, Nov. 27

Solid Waste: All Iredell County solid waste facilities will be closed Thursday, Nov. 23

Trash and Recycling Collection: Mooresville's trash and recycling will be closed on Thursday, Nov. 23 and will operate on a one-day delay schedule.
