Theatre Writing Camp In Mooresville To Be Offered In July

MOORESVILLE, NC — Calling all budding writers and thespians! Mooresville Parks & Recreation is offering a theatre writing summer camp for kids ages 9-`14 years old in July.

The camp will begin July 9.

Here’s what organizers say about it:

Does your child love to act or write? Sign them up for Theatre Writing Camp this summer. They will get the chance to write and workshop short plays and monologues and then perform the material they created for their parents and family on the final day!

The camp includes four workshops and one performance. It costs $15 and is open to children 9-14 years old.

• Workshops: Tuesdays, July 9, 16, 23, & 30, 6:30 p.m. — 7:30 p.m.
• Performance: Saturday, August 3, 6:30 p.m. — 7:30 p.m.
