Tip Leads Deputies To Capture Iredell ‘Most Wanted’ Suspect

MOORESVILLE, NC — One of Iredell County’s most wanted suspects was arrested on a list of outstanding drug charges Wednesday after authorities received a tip.

According to the Iredell County Sheriff’s Office, patrol deputies received information that Wesley Patrick Fulbright, 39, was at a home located at 423 East Lackey Farm Road in Stony Point.

“As they were walking to the front of the home, Fulbright ran out the backdoor of the home,” ICSO said. Deputies gave chase and Fulbright was caught after a short foot chase and arrested.

Fulbright was charged with outstanding warrants stemming from a search of his home located in the 100 block of June Bug Lane last week, and include: felony possession with intent to manufacture sell and deliver Schedule I controlled substance; felony possession with intent to manufacture sell and deliver Schedule III controlled substance; felony possession with intent to manufacture sell and deliver Schedule IV controlled substance; felony maintain a vehicle/ dwelling place for controlled substance; and felony possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

“In addition to these warrants, Fulbright had outstanding warrants for Failure to Appear on earlier drug charges,” ICSO said. As he was searched during the arrest, he was also found to be in possession of methamphetamine, which resulted in an additional charge.

Fulbright’s secured bond was set at $622,500.
