Traffic Control Measures Set For July 3 Fireworks In Mooresville
The highly anticipated Lowe's YMCA Fireworks display is Wednesday night. Here's where drivers can expect traffic changes.
MOORESVILLE, NC — Mooresville’s annual Lowe’s YMCA Fireworks display is Wednesday, July 3, which means area drivers should expect to see traffic control measures in place as crowds go home.
According to the Mooresville Police Department, officers will be positioned in numerous locations around the YMCA to help direct the flow of traffic.
“Please be cautious of pedestrians in the area and follow the officers’ instructions,” MPD said.

- Two places along Morrison Plantation Parkway will be right turn only following the display, at Plantation Ridge Drive and Hope Park.
- Along Williamson Road, Joe V. Knox Avenue, Savannah Drive, Leaning Oak Drive, and Plantation Ridge Drive will also be right turn only.
- Additionally, northbound Morrison Plantation Parkway traffic will be blocked from turning from Brawley School Road to Morrison Plantation Parkway, and southbound Williamson Road traffic will be blocked on Williamson Road at N.C. 150.
