Traffic Violation Leads To Two Drug Arrests In Mooresville

A recent traffic stop in Mooresville led to two arrests after an Iredell County sheriff's deputy discovered Oxycodone and Suboxone.

MOORESVILLE, NC -- A recent traffic stop in Mooresville led to the arrest of two suspects after an Iredell County Sheriff’s deputy discovered drug paraphernalia and narcotics, including Oxycodone and Suboxone.

Lieutenant C.L. Stone pulled over the 2007 Kia Dec. 7 after witnessing a traffic violation on Connector Road in Mooresville, according to a statement released by the Sheriff’s office.

The driver of the vehicle, Christopher Morrow, 33 and of Sherrills Ford, N.C., did not have a valid driver’s license. During the course of writing a citation, Stone discovered that Morrow’s passenger, Nancy M. Henderson, had an unserved warrant.

She was put under arrest for the warrant and found to be in possession of drug paraphernalia and Oxycodone, as well as Morrow’s wallet hidden in her pants. In the wallet, according to the law enforcement, was a Suboxone strip which Morrow did not have a prescription.

Morrow has been arrested and charged with possession of Suboxone and driving with a revoked license. In addition to charges related to the unserved warrant, Henderson, 36 and of Maiden, N.C., was charged with possession of Oxycodone and drug paraphernalia.
