Training Exercise Underway Near Lake Norman Regional
If you see a large police presence at Lake Norman Regional Medical Center Wednesday, don't be alarmed. It's a training exercise.
MOORESVILLE, NC — Officers from Mooresville Police Department are conducting a training exercise at Lake Norman Regional Medical Center Wednesday afternoon, according to a Town of Mooresville spokesperson.
“There will be a large police presence in the area but it is only a training exercise,” said Kim Seller, public information officer for the Town of Mooresville.
The Dec. 19 exercise is expected to begin at 2 p.m., she said.

The hospital is located at 171 Fairview Road in Mooresville.
