Trump National, Cracker Barrel: What Kitchen Inspections Found
Recent kitchen inspections found a range of infractions, including buffet food not under a sneeze guard and dirty pans.

MOORESVILLE, NC β Recent health inspections at a dozen Mooresville area restaurant kitchens found numerous violations, from dirty pans with food still on them to ready-to-eat food handled by an employee using their bare hands.

All recently inspected restaurants in Mooresville kept their "A" health rating, however multiple violations were found.

At Sebastianoβs, for example, a Jan. 24 inspection found 11 violations, including a dirty cheese grater, a dirty mixing bowl and other kitchen items with food residue on them stored with clean dishes and food without date marks.
At Hong Mei Buffet, a Jan. 28 inspection found nine violations, including items on the buffet, such as croutons, ginger and peanuts, not under a sneeze guard. Eight violations were found in the kitchen at Cracker Barrel, including dirty metal and plastic pans stored as clean, a bucket of sanitizer sitting next to the ice cream dipper, and food pans and container stacked wet.

Five violations were reported at Trump National Golf Club in a Jan. 29 inspection, that noted an employee was seen handling ready-to-eat bread loaves with their bare hands and bacon that had been held for several hours at an improper temperature.
