Here are the top three stories today in Mooresville:

  1. According to a Mooresville Police Department Facebook post, "two have been charged in common law robbery. On December 8, a suspect entered the Target located at 594 River Highway, Mooresville. While interacting with a Target store employee in the electronics department, the suspect took two Apple watches with a total value of $1599.98 from the store employee. The suspect then fled from inside the store to a car waiting in the parking lot. Mooresville Police Department (MPD) Officers were able to identify the suspects and conduct a traffic stop on the suspect's vehicle as the two suspects drove away from Target. One suspect fled on foot from the traffic stop but was apprehended after a brief foot pursuit. Kenneth Deangelo Foard, 36 of Charlotte, was charged with common law robbery, resisting, delaying and obstructing an officer and felony larceny. Tony Williams, 31 of Charlotte, was charged with felony conspiracy, aid and abet in common law robbery and resisting, delaying and obstructing an officer. Both subjects were taken to Iredell County jail on the above-mentioned charges." (Mooresville Police Department via Facebook)
  2. Do you want a VIP experience like no other? According to TobyChristie.com, "Front Row Motorsports is offering a VIP Experience in Support of Metallica's Helping Hands Concert and Auction. Front Row Motorsports, which fields entries in the NASCAR Cup Series and NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series, has partnered with legendary heavy metal band Metallica and their Foundation, All Within My Hands, in support of the band's Helping Hands Concert.
    The concert and auction, which will take place in Los Angeles on December 16, will benefit the Foundation, and be streamed live on Paramount+ and hosted by late-night talk show host Jimmy Kimmel. As part of the auction, Front Row Motorsports has offered up a VIP race experience for the 2023 NASCAR Cup Series season, which will allow fans to get an inside look at the organization, as well as a meet-and-greet, and photos with the team's drivers. As of December 9 at 11:30 am – the current bid for the NASCAR VIP experience was $3,550, raising just as much, or more than VIP experiences with the LA Rams and San Diego Chargers."
