Wiener Dog Race, Mystery Night: This Weekend In Mooresville

From Scarrigan Farms to the annual wiener dog race downtown, there are plenty of fun events happening around Mooresville this weekend.

MOORESVILLE, NC — Fall is in full swing in Mooresville this weekend, with plenty of fun things to do around town. Climb a straw castle or take a wagon ride through the Lazy 5 Ranch, which is celebrating it’s annual fall festival. If that sounds too tame, get an adrenaline rush at Scarrigan Farms haunted trail, or take in the wiener dog races in downtown Mooresville. Friday night, there’s a murder planned in the town library, too. If you're looking for something to do, Patch has you covered.

Here are five events to check out in Mooresville:

  • Scarrigan Farms — Friday, Oct. 5, 6:30 p.m. - 9 p.m. Scarrigan Farms, 1213 Oak Ridge Farm Hwy., Mooresville.
  • Fall Festival — Friday, Oct. 5 - Sunday, Oct. 7, Lazy 5 Ranch, 15100 Highway 150 East , Mooresville.
  • Mooresville Wiener Race — Saturday, Oct. 6, 9:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m., Downtown Mooresville.
  • Triple Diamond Farm Pumpkin Patch — Saturday, Oct. 6, 10 a.m., Triple Diamond Farm, 2260 London Road, Mooresville.
  • Murder Mystery Night — Friday, Oct. 5, 5 p.m. - 8 p.m. Mooresville Public Library, 304 S. Main Street, Mooresville.
