A winter weather advisory has been issued for Iredell County through 6 p.m. Wednesday, according to the National Weather Service.

MOORESVILLE, NC — The National Weather Service issued a winter weather advisory Tuesday afternoon, warning that Iredell County should expect freezing rain and wind gusts up to 35 miles per hour overnight. The advisory, which included Mooresville and Statesville, went into effect Feb. 19 at 6 p.m., and will remain in effect until 4 p.m. Wednesday.
