IREDELL COUNTY, NC — An Iredell woman was arrested and charged this week after a man told authorities she played a role in a roadside ambush where two men assaulted and robbed him at gunpoint.

According to an Iredell County Sheriff’s Office report, the Feb. 3 incident occurred on Starlight Road near Amity Hill Road.

Deputies found the victim parked alongside Starlight Road, and he told them he had made arrangements to meet a female friend. The woman — who ICSO has identified as Summer Scott — got into his vehicle, and directed him to another location to park. After the victim parked the vehicle, however, two men ran up to it, broke out side windows and assaulted him at gunpoint, ICSO said.
