Yadkin Woman Nabbed For Stealing Car In Iredell County: Sheriff
Taysa Lovelace, 25, was arrested after the stolen vehicle was found parked outside an Iredell County business, the sheriff's office said.
HARMONY, NC — A Yadkin County woman was arrested and charged with stealing a car in Harmony after the stolen vehicle was found parked outside an Iredell County business Friday, according to the Iredell County Sheriff’s Office.
According to ICSO, a vehicle was reported stolen from the 2600 block of Sandy Springs Road near Harmony on Aug. 16. The vehicle’s owner told the responding deputy that someone contacted her and said her car was parked in front of a store down the road, at 2107 Sandy Springs Road.
The deputy located the unoccupied car, which was found unlocked and with keys inside it, outside the business. Two witnesses at the store identified Taysa Lovelace, 25, as the suspect who arrived in the vehicle and said she was still inside.

Lovelace’s address is listed as Shady Grove Church Road in East Bend, North Carolina, ICSO said.
Deputies located Lovelace inside and, after speaking with her, took her into custody. The victim’s stolen car was also returned to her by deputies.

“While running a criminal records check on Lovelace, it was discovered she also had an outstanding arrest warrant out of Stokes County,” ICSO said.
Lovelace was charged with felony larceny of a motor vehicle. She was also served with the order for arrest for felony possession of stolen property out of Stokes County.
