Police Release Photos Of Person Of Interest In Murder Case
Charlotte police say this man is a person of interest in the September murder case of a 38-year-old man.
CHARLOTTE, NC -- Charlotte police are asking for the public’s help locating a man they say is a person of interest in the murder of a 38-year-old man near uptown in early September.
Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police found victim Joseph Bellamy, 38, in the 900 block of North Tryon Street Sept. 2 around 1:15 p.m., pronouncing him dead on the scene from "unknown trauma."
Following a report from the Mecklenburg County Medical Examiner, however, the case was ruled a homicide.

Now CMPD is saying a man wearing a red T-shirt and black shorts who was a passenger in a silver sports utility vehicle is a person of interest.
