One grad says it's life-changing (golf.com) — A USGA-backed Greenskeeper Apprenticeship Program based around Pinehurst courses and Sandhills Community College is helping locals turn golf maintenance work into full-time careers. One graduate now serves as superintendent at Pinewild Country Club in Pinehurst, crediting the free, full-time program with giving him both education and a clear path forward in the golf industry.
