• RR man faces statutory rape count (rrspin.com) — Local investigators have charged a Roanoke Rapids man in connection with alleged sexual conduct involving a minor, following a search at a Roanoke Rapids residence where the youth was found. The suspect is being held without bond, and authorities are asking anyone with relevant information to contact the sheriff’s office or Crimestoppers as the investigation continues.
